MoPLAST is an IIoT system developed by MOOVES targeting the plastics molding industry. Designed to achieve Industry 4.0 goals, MoPLAST is composed of a hardware device and a Cloud service. The system enables automated monitoring of the operation, efficiency and proper maintenance of an injection mold for plastic products, as well as the control of efficiency levels and the scheduling of maintenance plans.
MoPLAST also provides a platform for sharing manufacturing information and start-up instructions for injection molds. Information prepared by the mold manufacturer, updated in real time, are made accessible simultaneously to the mold owner and to the molders.
